Classroom Environment & Setup

This was one of several classroom layouts I setup to facilitate discussions.

 

What it shows:

·       Intentional design to support discussion and visibility

·       Shifts between teacher-centered and student-centered layouts

·       Awareness of how space influences participation

 

Reflection:
This reflects my growing understanding that environment shapes voice. Rearranging the classroom into a circle for discussion aligns with Pedagogies of Voice’s emphasis on belonging and visibility. However, I am still learning how to ensure that physical structure translates into intellectual ownership, not just participation.
